the life of a designer

Originally from (and currently residing in) central Massachusetts, I'm freshly graduated from Keene State College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. Visual media of all kinds interests me though, including digital photography and time-based motion graphics - the whole shebang. I love to experiment with different media and learn new things, too.

I like to think I am open-minded and versatile, as a designer, as a person. My surroundings influence much of what I do, everything from the company I keep to the music I jam to; it all makes a difference, and it all contributes to my work. While design projects are always important and professional, I like to keep a sense of humor in the works as well. I'm not one to take things way too seriously, but I view that as an essential characteristic that makes a big difference when it comes to giving designs character. I can conform to standards previously set, don't get me wrong, but I also love to step out of the box, even just a little bit. That's what makes this all so fun =)

Nonetheless, I am hard-working and very dedicated to what I do. I’m in this field for a reason, and I intend to make the most of it in whatever way possible.
